In a lengthy statement shared on Instagram, Omotayo said she had deliberately remained silent despite several false stories circulating about her marriage. However, she decided to speak out because the allegations continue to be presented as facts.
She specifically dismissed claims that Toyin Abraham caused problems in her marriage by allegedly informing her that another actress was with Femi Adebayo on a movie set.
"The allegation that actress Toyin Abraham was responsible for the problems in my marriage by allegedly informing me that another actress was with my then-partner on a movie set is completely false," she stated.
Omotayo also denied reports that she confronted, attacked, assaulted or harassed anyone on a movie set.
"For the record, I never confronted, attacked, assaulted, or harassed any woman or man at any movie location. No such incident ever took place," she said.
According to her, she was present throughout the production in question and was responsible, alongside her team, for catering to more than 500 cast and crew members for over a month.
She questioned how such an alleged incident could have occurred without a single witness among the hundreds of people on set.
Omotayo further stated that if anyone genuinely claims to have been attacked by her, they should come forward themselves, urging the public to stop spreading what she described as baseless narratives.
She explained that her silence was out of respect for everyone involved and a desire to avoid public conflict, stressing that it should never be interpreted as an admission of guilt.
Omotayo also revealed that her decision to speak was prompted by a recent video by Mama Esabod, which she said contained false and misleading claims about her.
While noting that she possesses screenshots of conversations between those directly involved, she said she has chosen not to release them because doing so would only fuel further public controversy.
She concluded by saying her intention was not to attack anyone but simply to set the record straight and bring an end to what she described as a false narrative.
